Al dar gracias a Dios por un nuevo día, aprendiendo de Dios, al estudiar su palabra; aprendemos las letras, números y sobre el mundo pero nunca olvidando que nuestra clase está basada en el amor, buscando que cada estudiante tenga una relación de respeto hacia los demás.”

“¿Cómo se lleva a cabo el ministerio educativo en Manantial? Un maestro debe estar convencido de su llamado a servir a Dios a través de su trabajo. El dar clases siempre debe considerarse como algo más que un trabajo; debe ser primeramente un ministerio. La verdadera educación de calidad solo se puede lograr cuando el maestro se satura primeramente en la palabra de Dios y camina diariamente en relación con el. Si esto está sucediendo, entonces la integración bíblica del contenido dentro del aula se volverá natural. La verdad bíblica y evangélica se entretejerá naturalmente en cada lección y conversación. Es a través de las interacciones diarias con estos maestros que los estudiantes verán aspectos de un Dios amoroso quien es la fuente de todo lo que necesitan en la escuela y en la vida.”

“My desire is that everyone we serve at Manantial would be able to feel at all times the joy that we have in Christ. I desire that we would be people of prayer; people that pray at the start of each new morning with all of our students of all ages. I also believe that we need to be a good example of love and humility. I think that is the best way to draw not only our students closer to Christ, but their mothers and fathers, and our society of all different cultures at large.”

“Kinder students at Manantial learn through interactions with their classmates. For this reason the majority of our activities are done together on our classroom rug. We give thanks to God for each new day and we learn about him through looking at His word. We learn letters, numbers, and about our world while never forgetting that our classroom is founded on love. We aim for each student to show love and respect to their other classmates.”

“How do we use education as a tool for ministry at Manantial? First, the teachers should be fully committed to their calling to serve the Lord through education. Teaching should not be considered merely as a job and nothing more, but as a tool for ministry first and foremost. Education of true and lasting value can only be achieved when the teacher has first saturated themselves in God’s Word and is disciplined in walking daily in relationship with Jesus. If this is happening then the biblical integration of content in the classroom will become natural. Biblical truth will naturally be woven into to each lesson and conversation. It is through these daily interactions with teaches that students will see the characteristics of a loving God who, we believe, is the source of everything we need in school and in life.”
